Allred makes hand-crafted, custom skis for passionate winter athletes of all kinds, and in collaboration with Shapemaker, we created an engaging landing page to inform and capture leads for new customers that can grow their business.
Without a website this client mainly sourced business through relationships and handmade status, but desired to grow their business and create an online precense to outline their craft and inform new customers.
Through multiple jam sketch and concept sessions with Shapemaker, we create a one of a kind brand, digital experience and content flow to develop into a website built in Webflow and stacked with subtle interactions and animations.
Landing on a successful layout and content strategy rarely happens on the first pass, and this project was no different. The Creative Director at Shapemaker and I collaborated closely through through several iterations in Figma to iron out what would inform and convert the best based on our understanding of the audience and overall strategy. Below are a few initial concepts that lead to the final state of the site today.
This was the first website for Allred Skis, and as a vehicle to communicate their new brand, it was essential to create a final design in Figma that was seamless with the brand vision and plan for scaling the site in the future.
I had a blast designing the interactions on this website in an attempt to not allow them to be too overpowering, while also having a consistent amount of motion throughout the page.
This initial launch of the Allred website funneled down to create some custom forms that could capture starting specs for the client to not only capture leads, but ultimately fulfill future customer dreams of taking their skiing experience to a whole new level.
